Scent-Sations distributor, MaryAnn Wylam and her daughter, Amanda Booth, of Exeter, PA took a box of votives, a few Mia Bella candles and the 8x10 color picture of the candles (from the fundraiser sheet) to the teacher in charge of Wyoming Area Student Council (Amanda is Vice President of the Student Council and is attending college on a Diving Scholarship!).
The student council loved the idea of Gourmet Scented candles and (obviously) so did their friends and family as they sold over 600 candles and made a profit of over $3,000!
"The kids embraced the whole thing and did all the work. All we had to do was show them the product and they took off with it...what a great way for kids to make money," said Maryann!
Here is the amazing result of Bob Scocozzo bugging a big guy to do candles. I've averaged ONE fundraiser every 10 days for two years now.
